These terms cover tools.embedos.io, including the tool pages and EM·LINK. By using the site you agree to them.

Free tools, no account

The tools are free to use. There is no sign-up and no account. You may use the results in your own work, commercial or not.

An engineering aid, not a certification

Each tool is calculated per the published standard or method cited on its page. The results are an engineering aid. They are not a certification, a design approval or a substitute for the standard itself. Check results against the standard, the device datasheet and your own judgement before you rely on them, and always in safety-critical work.

Connecting to hardware

EM·LINK can send data to devices you connect over USB serial, WebSocket or MQTT. You are responsible for what you send to your equipment. Do not use it on live plant without the permission and precautions your site requires.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Embedos Engineering is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the tools or their results.

Changes

We may update the tools and these terms. The date below shows the latest version.
